Second of the “Starburst” paintings. In this version, the white plate has flattened into a white backdrop with black corners. It resembles the view of looking through a microscope at microscopic life forms. The “Starbursts” have multiplied to nearly fill the white space. They have also changed shape. The outer points of the starbursts are now emphasized with thick black dots. The colors at the center remain the same, blue, yellow, and green, but with the addition of some teals and paler blues.
