Master study of one of Giorgio Morandi’s still-life paintings from 1920. While other master studies were more faithful to the original, in this one the artist chooses a colorfully saturated pallet rather than sticking with the near monochrome pallet Morandi used. The composition is the same, composed of a large amber jug, a prone glass bottle, a vase, a decorative glass serving dish, and two balls. One on the table, one in the serving dish.
