Pissaro studied from great masters of Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism and went on to become a great master himself, teaching the likes of Gauguin and Renoir. Roon has learned from him too by studying Pissarro’s 1882 painting, “La Cote de ‘Chou’ a Pontoise.”
